Terms of use

These terms cover the Kynu app and this website. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them.

What Kynu is

Kynu stores medicines, readings and documents for the people you look after, reminds you of doses, and lets you share a chosen slice of that record. It runs on your phone first. A cloud copy is kept when you sign in.

Kynu is not medical advice. It does not check doses or interactions, and it does not say whether a reading is high or low. Follow the doctor or pharmacist who wrote the prescription. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.

Who may use it

You must be 18 or older. You are responsible for the records you add, including records about someone else, and for inviting only people who should see that family.

Plans

The free plan covers one person, two prescription scans a month, and typing medicines in by hand with no limit. Reminders and the emergency card are free. The Family plan covers up to ten people, unlimited scans, invite codes, and sharing with a doctor. Anyone you invite joins on the free plan.

A scan that the phone can read itself does not count. A scan sent to the reading service counts. Reading a page you already scanned does not count again. Nothing from a scan is saved as a medicine until you confirm it.

Paying for the Family plan

The Family plan is bought inside the app, from Apple or Google. The price you confirm is the price on that store's payment sheet. This website shows ₹199 a month as the listed price. The store may show a local price.

The plan renews automatically until you cancel. Apple or Google charges your store account. Cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends, in your App Store account settings or in Google Play subscriptions. Deleting your Kynu account does not cancel the store subscription.

If a purchase does not unlock the plan, use Restore purchases on the Subscription screen. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under that store's rules.

Your account

Signed in, open You & family and choose Delete my account. That removes your account, the people you added, and their records and files. What you logged in a family you joined stays with that family. If you cannot open the app, write to support@kynu.app from the email on the account.

The privacy policy describes what is stored, who can see it, and what we never do.

Acceptable use

Do not use Kynu to break the law, to put someone else's record where they have not agreed it should go, or to try to read another family's data. We may suspend an account that is used that way.

The service can change

We may update the app, these terms, or the plans. The current terms are always on this page. If you keep using Kynu after a change, the new terms apply. The free plan stays free for what it covers today.

Liability

Kynu is a record and a reminder. You check the dose before you mark it taken. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for a missed dose, a misread prescription, or a decision you make from what is stored in the app. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit.
