In the app
What we store: the medicines, readings and documents you add — for you, and for up to nine other people in the family.
Where: this phone first. Servers in India when you sign in to the cloud.
When you photograph a strip, this phone reads the names against the medicine list first. If that cannot fill the form, a reading service outside India may look at the picture. Nothing is saved as a medicine until you confirm.
Who can see it: you, and anyone you invite. Doctors only when you share, only what you pick, only until it expires.
What we never do
Sell it, advertise on it, or give medical advice. Event names and counts only — never a drug name, a value, or a patient name in logs.
Delete your account
Signed in, open Kynu, go to You & family, and choose Delete my account. That removes your account, the people you added, and their records and files — on this phone and in the cloud.
What you logged in a family you joined stays with that family.
A Google Play subscription is not cancelled in the app. Cancel it in Google Play subscriptions. An App Store subscription is cancelled in your App Store account settings.
If you are not signed in, Delete everything on You & family removes what is stored on this phone.
If you cannot open the app, write to support@kynu.app from the email on the account and ask us to delete it.
How the cloud copy is kept apart
Every family's rows are tied to that family. The database itself checks each request and only returns rows to people who belong to the family — not just the app. Data travels between your phone and our servers over HTTPS.
The Family plan
The Family plan is paid through Apple or Google. We learn whether the plan is active. We do not receive your card number.
On this website
- No analytics, no advertising and no tracking scripts.
- If you leave an email on the coming soon page, we keep that address so we can write when there is something to say. We do not sell it or use it for anything else. Write to support@kynu.app if you want it removed.
- Cookies are used only to keep you signed in on the account page. Nothing is set if you never sign in.
- The account page shows your plan. It never shows medicines, readings or documents.
